QUALITY STANDARDS
FabriCare fabrics undergo a rigorous series of mechanical, efficacy, and compliance tests to ensure that they consistently deliver peak performance and fulfil their product promise. These tests are conducted not only at our in-house NABL-accredited lab but also at globally recognized third-party labs.
STAIN REMOVAL TESTING
FabriCare makes sure that its fabrics are easy to clean, can handle tough stains, and stay looking great wash after wash. To achieve this, we have created a unique testing process.
We test all our fabrics in both our in-house lab and at third-party labs to ensure their quality. We apply multiple stains to the fabric to make sure they can be removed under different conditions. We also make sure that our fabrics can handle common accidental household stains, even if they have been on the fabric for a while. And, we test them multiple times after washing to make sure they remain durable and long-lasting.
In short, with FabriCare, you can have confidence that our fabrics are made to withstand everyday wear and tear and remain to look their best.

PERFORMANCE & DURABILITY TEST
At FabriCare, we take quality seriously. We want you to have fabrics that are durable, reliable, and of consistently high quality. That’s why we put our fabrics to the test in our in-house fully accredited laboratory as well as independent labs.
We don’t stop until our fabrics meet our rigorous testing standards. And when they do, they earn the FabriCare stamp of approval. This means you can trust that any fabric with our stamp of approval will perform exceptionally well and live up to your expectations. So you can relax, knowing that you have fabrics that are made to last.
These are the tests our fabrics undergo to ensure peak performance:
MARTINDALE TESTS
For resistance to wearing and abrasion.
BRUSH PILLING
Resistance to developing pills or small balls of fibre on its surface after repeated use.
COLOUR FASTNESS
Resistance to fading from multiple factors depending on use - from light to weather to washing.
WASHABILITY
Testing for the integrity of the structural appearance and performance of the fabric after multiple washes.
ANTIBACTERIAL TESTS
(FOR INDOOR/OUTDOOR)
FabriCare’s Indoor/Outdoor fabrics are specially designed with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties to help keep them clean and hygienic. To ensure that our fabrics meet the highest industry standards for these parameters, we subject them to testing at globally recognized labs.
We only accept fabrics that demonstrate excellent performance and surpass the base standards for antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. This means that when you choose FabriCare, you can be confident that you are getting fabrics that not only look great but are also clean and safe for use.
CERTIFICATIONS
D’Decor’s manufacturing facilities are certified by multiple agencies and bodies that set the standard of manufacturer responsibility from infrastructure, raw material to processes.
MADE IN GREEN
MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® is a traceable product label for all kinds of textiles and leather products that have been manufactured in environmentally friendly facilities under safe and socially responsible working conditions.
The MADE IN GREEN label also measured consumers that the textile or leather product is made of materials that have been tested for harmful substances.
ISO
ISO is the globally accepted benchmark for various performance parameters.
9001: specifies requirements for a quality management system (OMS).
14001: specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS).
45001: specifies requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
GOTS
GOTS ensures the organic status of textiles and covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70 percent certified organic natural fibers.
GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard for third-party certification of Recycled Content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
ORGANIC CONTENT STANDARD
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of certified organic input and chain of custody.
GOODWEAVE
The GoodWeave label means that no child, forced or bonded labor was used in the making of a certified product, and that your purchase supports programs that educate children and ensure decent work for adults.
GREENGUARD
Products that have achieved GREENGUARD Certification are scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure.
